Introduction : Microsoft has released it’s newest operating system -“Windows 10” in the end of july 2015, Microsoft describes it as “universal application architecture” which introduces Metro-style apps which can be run across multiple platforms of windows and is optimized for both personal computers and Tablet pc’s. But in the recent update i.e. windows 10, Microsoft has included a number of data collection tools which are enabled by default in the system such as Sending physical whereabouts, browser history , synced contacts, calendar events and typing and linking of data to the Microsoft servers. This monitoring or accessing of data from Microsoft was the part of customer experience improvement program (CEIP). And this was to make improve the applications or programs that customers use more often. But most of them are unaware of this program and upgrading them to Windows 10 as it was a free update from Microsoft for all the legal licenced versions of windows 7, 8 and 8.1 users. But here comes the main issue , Most of the experienced users are aware of the problem and doesn’t want to upgrade to the newest built but Microsoft has left them with no choice by including those programs to windows 7 & 8 operating systems in its recent update and making them to use a different operating system. This update is not only for windows 7 and 8 but also for Windows Server 2012 R2 and Windows Server 2012 R2. Three files are included in this …show more content…

• This might cause Microsoft to run into problems in the near future. • Some of the experienced users might want to change to different operating systems if Microsoft continues their run in this fashion. Conclusion : Microsoft is not only spying the users accounts but they are also interfering in the privacy policy of the users. And we can’t even know that upto what extent they are collecting the data from users. Whatever may be the solution but they can’t be removed completely from the system. The other way is to getting back to windows xp which no longer receives updates from Microsoft or shift to some other operating systems like mac os or Ubuntu and use windows as secondary OS just to make some applications work. In my view its not a big task for the experienced users to uninstall or stop those services from running but the users who are not aware of the functioning of those services may face a problem for their data privacy and Microsoft should rethink about the problem and try to remove those updates as soon as possible.
