The soft sounds of wind greeted Salem, inviting her into the forest. Everything had seemed normal that day, nothing out of the un-ordinary, the grass was still a soft spongey, green, and the sky was still blue with dollops of fluffy white clouds, but Salem learned something that day, never believe anything, for what it seems to be. The day had started off with Salem heading to River Fall, a nearby city. As the sun reached about Masser (mid-day), the sky darkened, it was if a big black sheet had enshrouded the whole land. She had gotten quite off trail already, a few slight detours to spot caves and ruins. As she was heading closer onto the path, a single drop of rain fell on her black silky hair, then another on her metal armor, and suddenly a whole storm was upon Salem and her dog, Escuro. The two began to bolt through the forest, snapping small twigs and crumbling leaves under their feet.
As they were rushing through the forest, they saw a little old shack. The moss stuck to their feet/paws as they ran.
