It all started on one exceptionally cold winter night. Abigail, Betty, and a few other girls gathered around a fire in a dimly lit kitchen. The candles flickered and cast shadows on the pale walls. Tituba, Parris’s slave, tends a cauldron over the large, bright fire as she speaks.

The Trials were a worldwide thing and are still talked about today as a terror in American history. The main points of the trials that we’ll learn is You can’t force an answer out of someone, You can’t accuse someone of something just because of what they say, just because someone sees something doesn’t mean it’s true. Unless there is solid proof you are innocent until proven guilty.
This court consisted of eight judges and was known as the Court of Oyer and Terminer. The talk of people being accused as witches grew, which spread around to the neighboring colonies and people were brought to Salem over from those neighboring towns and later were put on trial. Those accused were brought on trial and were questioned by a judge. Those accused then had to decide if they wanted to plead not guilty or guilty. I am here to tell you about what I have discovered by investigating your town of Salem. As I was sitting back listening to all the trail I noticed some things that are rather wrong in my opinion. I believe that Abigail Williams and John Proctor did have an affair with each other, Mary Warren was telling the truth about the girls who were faking witchcraft being used on them, and with the witch trials going on Salem is starting to fall apart. These are just three out of the many things I found wrong due the trials. Everybody in the whole town knew there was always something going on between them to.

People in the town of Salem are all furious and upset with the current witch trial that are taking place. The prosecution that the court has provided is that Abigail, Mary, Danforth, and Hale all provided factual information and truthful evidence to those that have been accused of witchcraft. They are trying to prove that those accused are practicing and using witchcraft, and that the accusers are trustworthy, reliable people who have no reason to be doubted. The main problem with the previous trial were caused by Abigail, Mary, Danforth, and Hale. Abigail Williams is an unreliable and untrustworthy person.

The year of 1692 identified a significant event in history in the town of Salem, Massachusetts. The Salem Witch Trials revealed series of prosecutions of people being accused of witchcraft, which resulted in the executions of twenty innocent people. Out of the twenty people, fourteen of them were women were hung to death and the others died in prison. It all began with several girls that experimented with magic, which the Puritans believed they were collaborating with the Devil. Based on the Puritan beliefs, the meaning of witchcraft was the Devil’s magic.
