Carmen introduced everybody to Jana Pierson who will be teaching DA106: Dental and Medical Emergency Management and DA202: Dental Materials. Jana is a native of the Rogue Valley area just received her master’s degree and she has been a dental hygienist for 18 years. This is Jana’s first teaching experience and she is having fun and excited to be at RCC! Briefly, Teri updated the dental assistant staff with the new position changes.
The administrative structure for the program I am interning for in treatment foster care. The program is structure is that of a traditional hierarchical pyramid. The Director of Treatment Foster Care is Brenda Kess. Next, Treatment Foster Care Supervisors are Justine Jai Roberts and William Frazier. Then, the social workers are Katrina Carroll, Jill Epstein-Molter, Latoya Lowe, Kassmeir Smith and Delita Galanos.

As the project manager I must determine seven representatives that will serve on the multidisciplinary board project team. The team would consist of the lead physician, lead nurse practitioner,lab manager, coding supervisor,physician assistant, and front desk clerk. This would cover all departmental area of the healthcare organization. Having a representative from all department areas will bring different perspectives on how the new system will be used and will provide a wide range of skills and knowledge. The team must possess specific skills, knowledge, and expertise in order to make this project a success.

My week 6 in Public Health was filled with unprofessionalism and full of sadness how public school has become. I was at Mt. Gleason again this week with Nurse Archer and Nurse Ana. We had to organize health immunization cards that has not been organized for a while. While organizing the health immunization cards, we noticed that the health immunization cards that were in the filing cabinets were mostly students that transitioned to Middle School or have transferred to another schools. It was very disorganized.

The film Gallipoli shows us that to die for your country is not sweet nor fitting as it was merely a scheme that hurt all that were involved. The Australian men that signed up to war thinking it was courageous to do so were proved wrong as it was not their own war but the British’s. It is also apparent throughout the film that it should not have been desirable to die against the Turkish that were only men fighting for their own country. Whilst many bystanders got hurt as the result of the numerous deaths the truth was slowly shown- that the people that died for our country was not slightly beneficial to our country.
Being in the healthcare profession as a healthcare administrator is a very demand job. As a healthcare administrator one of the major focuses would be communicating affectively no matter who your communicating with such as patients, family members, staff and outside organizations. Healthcare administrator are the abdicator for their staff, patience and facility. Today we live in a very diverse world it is important for healthcare administrator to be familiar with the demographic surrounding their facility. No matter what level of degree you are in most healthcare administrator is able to have strong professional back grounds and having the experience is necessary (Public Health,2016).
