I have been dedicated to my academic performance and character development to excel in my future profession. After graduating from H. Grady High School, I immediately attended the nearest community college–El Centro College. With uncertainty in selecting a profession, I enrolled in many college courses to determine the appropriate career for me. Through volunteer opportunities and personal responsibilities, I discovered my interest in the complexity of humanity and social issues. This realization confirmed journalism as the ideal academic and professional path. After encountering significant and completing my Associate of Science, I would like to transfer to the University of Texas at Austin to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and become a media force that recognizes the significance of diversity and awareness of social equality.
