Robert E. Lee Robert E.Lee was born in stratford hall Virginia 1807. His father's name was also Robert E.Lee the second. His father served with george Washington during the American revolution and was considered a war hero he was in the cavalry too. Robert E. Lee had a normal childhood life he then went to school a few years later he went to west point military academy he stayed in till he was the highest rank a cadet could receive he got 3 degrees cavalry infantry and artillery. his family has been in the military from generation so when he was old enough he too joined the military.
Norsemen were the first settlers of Canada between the 9th and 10th century. Raids and continuous migration drove away the Scandinavian from their homeland. The country would not be discovered again till 1534 by Jacques Cartier. Cartier discovered Canada on his second voyage and found an alternative path that led to Canada. Fast forward to the transcontinental railroad era, the colonies Nova Scotia, News Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island were divided and the nation needed to be reformed.
Christopher Columbus, said first discoverer of the New World, was credited this title because his personal discovery of the New World was not only lasting and lead to the beginning of exploration and colonization, but he also had documented/published proof or “record” of this new land, which included his journal entries, unlike the explorers before him. However, around 1000 A.D., years and years before Columbus went to new land, a Viking man named Leif Eriksson hit the land of Canada after his father and crew landed in what they named Greenland. “Sagas” or legends let us know that he was indefinitely involved in the true discovery of the New World (Leif Erickkson vs. Christopher Columbus). Poor Richard’s Almanack is a known series of annual calendars published by Benjamin Franklin. It included things such as important dates, statistical information, and tables of tides and astrology.

John Cabot was born in Genoa, Italy somewhere around in the 1450 and died in 1509 late after his successful voyage he later died in 1509. His father, Giulio Caboto, was a spice merchant. Champlain discussed an alliance with the indians and the french King which was accepted and was followed with a small celebration. Champlain continued his exploration and explored the Saguenay River. Giles, George’s father left his mother before he was born, only to leave Mary, his mother, to raise George on her own. On his third and last voyage, a series of unfortunate events stopped King Francis I from sponsoring expeditions for him ever again, and he died on Saint-Malo in 1557. On Cartier’s first and second trips, he was sponsored by King Francis I to find a route to Asia through North America, and to find valuable spices and precious metals on his first one, he set sail with two ships and 61 men, explored Newfoundland and discovered Prince Edward Island. On Cartier’s second trip he found the Iroquois, heard tales of riches further west from them, and traveled back to France
