Throughout my education years I have acquired a different approach to solving problems and overcoming the conflicts that I have faced, instead of focusing only on the problem I started to see the bigger picture and tried to understand what was causing the problems that we face, and the sources of those problems. With the aim of overcoming the communication problems that people and nations face in an effective way, and learning more about different areas of study I have decided to apply to Santa Monica College.
My aim is to transfer to University of Southern California and major in International Relations. I believe that studying at your school will be a really important step in doing so. It is my opinion that studying in Santa Monica College will help me develop a stronger mind which will enable me to gather information in various fields of studies. Without a healthy relationship between individuals of a society the society itself cannot be healthy.
Regarding my academic background, I have finished my high school education at Izmir Gelisim High School. I have attended several school clubs such as theatre club which helped me see how I react to speaking in front of a crowd and have represented my school in DI (Destination and Imagination) which let me experience how I can turn imagination into reality, DI has also helped me meet and befriend many new people as well.
After graduating high school I have been accepted to the Halic University’s American Culture and Literature department with full scholarship, although I have learned a lot of new information and made new friends, I was not feeling that I have been learning about the topics which interest me and felt that this was not what I wanted to do with my
