Emigration of Children As of October of 2013 there has been an estimate of sixty thousand illegal immigrant children crossing into the U.S. border to try to better themselves. As Americas we believe that every illegal immigrant wants to come into the U.S. to take our jobs what we don’t know if the current situations occurring in their countries. Most people emigrate to the United States of America to live the “American Dream.” However, young children emigrate from their countries due to the ongoing poverty and violence. Half of the time the unaccompanied illegal immigrant youth is targeted on this journey and are often sexually abused or physically abused. Us Americas bash on them for coming into our land to take our jobs and our money, but we do not realize that once our ancestors might have migrated into this country for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Most people do not realize that themselves as American citizens will not go onto the fields to pick fruits and vegetables because they just got a hundred dollar manicure they will not do what an immigrant will do to make a living. Jenna Johnson in her online article spoke about the current hate most illegal immigrant children are receiving in West Minister, Maryland “…undocumented immigrant children might soon live in a former military facility in this town, graffiti appeared on the one-story brick building: “No illeagles here.
