However, it is important that the business priotises the customer’s needs in order to maximise profits (Zhang et al, 2006, pp 162, 166). This idea is central as it is a common theme in the five anchors of real business opportunities (Spinelli et al, 2012, p 131). Consumers are always after maximising on utility and therefore go for quality and quantifiable products. Furthermore, customers demand more of a product that is available at a cheaper cost. When starting a new venture, it is important to do a proper scrutiny of the market in order to determine the gap available and maximise on that opportunity.
