Savage Sam Love? Do most people truly know the real feeling behind it? Savage sam is a book of adventure and love. When people say love most people think of romeo and juliet type of love, but in reality there are many types of love and can be shown in many ways. Some people say that the bond between a man and his dog is unbreakable, this story is a prime example of this being true. Sam is the offspring of the greatest watchdog ever, Old Yeller. He has the strength of his dad but the excellence of his mom's nose. He was born to a loving and caring family, his best friend was little Arliss. Love is and can be one of the strongest feeling in the world.
During the frontier days in the hot, dry place state of Texas, lived a family with two children. The oldest being 15 named travis he is a strong hard working kid. Arliss is ten years old, although he lack size he makes up in his fighting ability, Arliss and his dog sam have an unbreakable bond. One day while sam and arliss are out finding critters travis decides to go and find him so he brings along lisabeth. They come to a whole in a ravine and find same and arliss fighting a bobcat in his den. When things finally settle down they find out that they are surrounded by a tribe of 15 commaches and one apache.

An Apache stops the comanche before he can hurt arliss. In the meanwhile there Uncle Beck and there father are rounding up a search party to kill the indians and bring back the three kids. They go on a huge journey across the plains after their kids. While the indian are riding towards their tribe they a group of soldiers meet their path and a battle goes on. Travis gets set free so the indian can escape the oncoming soldiers. Then the get into a fight and the indians kill all of the soldiers. Travis then takes all necessary supplies to go after the
