Schrödinger’s Cat: In 1935, Schrödinger created an experiment stating that if a cat is inside a box with a Geiger counter for an hour than has a 50/50 chance of breaking a vile filled with toxic material that could kill the cat. That means that the cat is both living and dead at the same time. The purpose of this experiment is to show that the “real world” and quantum states are 2 things that shouldn’t be mixed on a large life scale. Schrödinger never actually did this experiment, but mainly showed the paradox that the cat can’t actually be alive and dead at the same time, but if you aplpy quantum mechanics it must be. Schrödinger accepted the idea of superposition because it was proven when he was alive and was widely accepted as a correct
