In the conventional sense, an Organization is an organized group of people working to achieve various business goals, personal goals and social goals.
Business goals generally include profit maximization, business expansion and diversification, etc.

As seen in the novel, The Schindler’s Ark, an organization in the business of enamelware in the post World War I era. The book depicts a true humanitarian leader and guide who protect the interests of his people working under him so much so that he himself takes the fall in the end to save his people.
Such is the behavior of a successful organization – Employees first, outsiders later.
Context
The book, The Schindler’s Ark, is set in the post World War I era when Mr. Adolf Hitler and the Nazis took charge of Germany and invaded Poland wherein the Jewish-hatred policies were imposed as they were previously in Germany. The book is mainly about Jews from Krakow, Poland. As per the new norms and laws, Jewish people could no longer own businesses in Poland and other German occupied territories and eventually forced to wear armbands or patches emblazoned with the Star of David (Jewish symbol) so that they could be easily identified as Jews. They were forced out of their homes in the city and countryside and into ghettos, concentrated and separated from rest of the population. Innumerable Jews were killed by mobile killing units of the Nazis and several were kept as slaves for doing labor jobs at a negligible price. Since all businesses were shut, the economy had come to a
