Storyline

The “Legion” X-Men spin-off series is about a a guy named David Haller. He is a troubled man, and possibly gifted. He is a a patient at a psychiatric facility and believed to have schizophrenia. In his whole life, he hears voices and he cannot really tell whether they are real or just something in his head.

Some say that Haller’s schizophrenia is actually a mutant gift, especially because he was identified as X-Men’s Professor X’s son in the original Marvel comic book. Perhaps, in “Legion,” Haller was only made to believe that he is mentally ill because powerful people do not want him to discover about his superhuman abilities.
