Seeds are small, but their size does not define them. If you give in enough dedication to nurturing a seed they will give you forests of abundance. I believe this also ties into education; if a student wants to become a successful graduate they must have diligence and patience into growing their fruit of equity. My experiences as a determined student have really overcome my struggles. I have faced many obstacles from the beginning of my life until now, but I have also had many gifts of luck. I think luck and hardships helped me become a better person for others as well as aid my interior being. I would always try my best in any project, but I would always worry about presentations. I had stage fright and would often worry if others would judge me. I had a love for singing, but I would have never sung in front of people until my mother signed me up for a singing competition at the Riverside County Date Festival and my nerves skyrocketed off the roof. This competition was an event that really impacted my life and made me realize the path that I had to take. Confidence was something I needed to learn to succeed in life. Therefore at the end of 2012, I started high school and I also started violin lessons with Michelle Gonzalez. She was my second music teacher and I am grateful that she came across my life. I got comfortable with her teaching music, mainly mariachi. I was quickly enrolled in her mariachi family after several practices. This mariachi family gave me the guidance of overcoming my stage fright and lack of confidence. Mariachi taught me how to perform in front of anyone and bring joy and memories to others through music. All of these events and lessons have constructed the person I am
