1. Identify and define the ethical dilemma. Mr. White, the new principal of South Elementary School must a complete a project within the next three days. This project is being completed by Mrs. Thompson, the school’s internal team lead. While searching through files in the office, Mr. White discovered a file containing information regarding Mrs. Thompson’s conviction and imprisonment for sexual abusing a seven –year child. Apparently, the former the principal (relative of Mrs. Thompson did not share this information about Mrs. Thompson with anyone at the school. Furthermore, Mr. White’s behavior is a model of high morale to teachers, parents, and community. Cons: (delayed notification): Mr. White’s delayed notification, would serve to benefit himself; as well the school by allowing Mrs. Thompson to complete the project.
