n the sources provided, segregation is illustrated through events that occured in the past. Segregation has been around for many years and many people have been affected negatively from the division of the two races. Segregation is unconstitutional and should not be shown to others because everyone should be treated equal.

Segregation towards blacks was used in everyday life. For example, it says “After parks refused to move, she was arrested and fined $10.” (Source A). This shows that Rosa Parks was arrested because she was standing up against segregation. This also shows that because of segregation she was forced to sit in the back of the bus to give white people the front seats. In addition in the reading its states that all black people had to sit away from white people and even had to take different routes than white people (Source A). This shows that Segregation was common in everyday life and they were treated unfairly. For example, in the reading it says when nine black students, the arkansas nine, attempted to enter a white school they were physically blocked by white protesters(source B). This shows that people didn’t want black students attending a white school and protested towards their education. Even though they attended legally through the NAACP people still didn’t believe that the kids shouldn’t be able to attend this white school. In addition it says, the governor brought the military to protect the nine students from other students (Source B). This shows that the protesters were so violent towards the black kids attending school that they had to bring the national guard to protect the kids. Still through this they were still being treated unfairly and were forced to enter the back of the school.
