The Black Panther Party for Self Defense was Formed in 1966, and was one of the largest BLACK POWER, revolutionary ORGANIZATIONS for the self-determination of Black people that has ever existed. The Black Panthers were famous as well as notorious for bearing arms in defense against police brutality. The Black Panthers has numerous unknown sides of their organization, as they organized dozens of programs that helped disenfranchised black, brown and white people and provided free breakfast and shoes for kids as well as free education and health clinics for both children and adults. They joined under a banner civil rights movements and black power movement that ignited and changed Black America. As cultural nationalism sees white people as the oppressor with no distinction between whites who were non-racist and whites who are racist which is a distinction made by Panthers whose philosophy embarked non-racist white people.
