Considering these facts, I set realistic career paths that I can work with to achieve the career that I dream of. I used many online questionnaires to discover the career is that fit me. From a long list, I picked my top three choices according to my interests and skills.

I compared five post-secondary paths that one can take and explored the opportunities each one offers. I also compared salary, demand in the market, and working conditions to distinguish their specialties.

Again, my circumstances might change during the rest three years in high school. I might have to adjust goals that are too hard to reach. University seems like a great option to get me more prepared for an engineering career. However, every university has its school mark notch that separates people who are qualif ed from the people who are not. If I do not reach that notch, I definitely need to take another path, such as college.

I learned that choosing the right career path for anyone is very important. I quoted from diversity in interests, culture, and skills enable us to work with different professionals and thus forming a strong community. For instance, the most popular options currently are job finding websites, local newspapers, and through interpersonal connections. However, it is often not as easy as flipping through the newspapers. One must write his cover letter and resume, and most importantly survive the interview. In conclusion, achieving our career goals take years or decades of patience and effort.
