Kill Caesar The Senate made the right decision in killing Caesar given what they knew, because Caesar was taking away power from the senate, taking away the right of citizens to vote by choosing the people he wants to work with, and he took to much power for himself. The Senate needed to get rid of Caesar because he did to many bad things for the Rome. They killed Caesar because they could not simply overrule him, but they had to get rid of him some how. If they were to do anything else it would result in their death. Caesar had to be killed because he took away the right for the senate to make financial decisions. He also allowed the people to vote but still elected himself general every time and picked the magistrates in which he worked with.
