In Alberta, it was determined that there were seniors who did not receive their guaranteed income support payments in it’s entirely. The reading materials demonstrated the problems of income inequity among disability and elder groups, while showing explanation about data that collected from related news and articled. The income inequity has brought the society many demands, yet still must be fulfilled correspondingly in order to achieve the goal of maintaining income, equity of the aging population and improving the social support of the disability older group. A high level of government participation and social support provided various factors of social components to address senior disparities. In this case, provincial government level is playing an important role on making structures decisions in terms of bettering the system running of the GIS program. Income inequalities brought burden to society in many aspects as a whole. The side effect of low income situation also caused the problem of undesirable housing, less health care protection, low activity participation, disappointed living sanitation and affordable food supplement, yet still brings other impacts that are influencing senior’s living conditions regarding disadvantaged seniors in Canada. However, the premier and cabinet, often referred to as the Executive Council, is the central policy-making authority, even though other structures are created to mediate it’s rile. The structures such as cabinet committees, treasury board are influencing the decision making of GIS programs on all aspects, they are helping to range the financial distribution, to obtain personal information, to calculate the bursary that seniors are entitled, to review files and to revise the past information and to promote and manipulate the program for further engagement, therefore become the core of the whole running system of the GIS …show more content…
