Have you ever left the house, and then return to a place that looks like a tornado has blown threw? This might happen if you have a dog with separation anxiety. This does not mean that your dog is broken or bad, it just means that they need a little security and comfort to know that you will be back. Dogs who are abused or ones that have been dropped off somewhere may feel like it can happen again anytime, even if it was not you that implemented this trauma. So, it is very important to work with a dog with this behavior, teach them you are not going anywhere, and show them it is their home. A pet, especially dogs, need to feel that you love them for them to have security.
