Sergeant Hunter is enthusiastically recommended for the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for professional achievement in the superior performance of his duties while serving as a Flight Equipment Collateral Duty Inspector, and work center Embarkation Representative for Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 369 (HMLA-369), Marine Aircraft Group 39 (MAG-39), 3d Marine Aircraft Wing (3d MAW), from 15 October 2017 to 20 May 2018. Sergeant Hunter has excelled personally and professionally supporting the squadron. He possesses a level of maturity and motivation towards mission accomplishment that is infectious amongst junior Marines, peers, and senior leadership. -As a Flight Equipment Technician, Sergeant Hunter’s work ethic is unparalleled. This has been shown in his completion of 621.7 maintenance action forms and 456.3 man hours, all of which directly supported gear preparation for UDP 18.1. -Sergeant Hunter expeditiously prepared flight gear and equipment required to support Cobra Gold directly after the MALS-36 initial inspection. This gear preparation included short cycling over 30 Aviator flight vests and associated gear so that the inspection cycle would extend beyond the training event.
