Jeffrey Dahmer, a famous serial killer who killed over seventeen people, died in prison while waiting out fifteen consecutive life sentences. Dahmer, one of America’s most notorious serial killers, had a difficult childhood that spiraled out of control and began an unhealthy obsession with killing animals as a young child that led to him becoming a murderous necrophiliac. Dahmer, who was born on May 21, 1960 had a relatively normal life until he was four. “He was described as an energetic and happy child until the age of four, when surgery to correct a double hernia seemed to effect a change in the boy” (Biography.com Editors). After the surgery he had little emotion and was an unhappy child most of the time.
The serial killer that I am doing my report on is Jeffrey Dahmer. Jeffrey was born on May 21, 1960 and he had died on November 28, 1994. Jeffrey was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Jeffrey was actually pretty normal up until the age of four. Jeffrey had to correct a double hernia which had caused a difference in his body and actions.

Most of these serial killers tend to follow a particular pattern when choosing their victims. People have been trying to understand why serial killers would cause so much damage to their families and victims, or why they feel the need to kill.

However, it’s usually their pasts that make serial killers who they are.

There is also the fact that decisions made over time will affect the type of person you will become.
