Aileen Wuornos Aileen was born on February 29th, 1956 in Rochester, Michigan to the parents of Leo Dale Pittman (father) and Diane Wuornos. She was a serial killer who was said to have killed several men. It was also believe that she was one of the United States first female serial killers. . She was born as Aileen Carol Pittman. Her father was also known as a psychopath and a child molester who was then incarcerated at the time of Aileen birth. Aileen’s mother was not a good mother what so ever, she abandoned Aileen and her brother who were then lucky enough to stay together an be adopted by their grandparents. Three days later she confessed to the murders. She claimed that all of them tried to rape her so she killed them in self defense. She received several death sentences but was not charged in the murder of Peter Siems because his body was never found. After being convicted she filed for an appeal and was denied. She was accusing prisons guards of abusing her, trying to kill her, spitting on her food, serving her food with urine and being handcuffed so tight her hands would bruise every time she left her cell. Wuornos was brought into the death chamber on October 9, 2002. She had had KFC as her last meal and was given a $20 budget. Her last words before the execution were "Yes, I would just like to say I'm sailing with the rock, and I'll be back, like Independence Day with Jesus. June 6, like the movie. Big mother ship and all, I'll be back, I'll be back." At 9:47 A.M. EDT, Aileen Wuornos died. She was the tenth woman in the United States to be executed since the Supreme Court lifted the ban on capital punishment in 1976, and the second woman ever executed in Florida.
