Conflicting Killers

Death is the great unknown journey that most humans are horrified by. For the normal human being, death is a sad experience that often stems us to feel a wide variety of emotions. Normal humans feel sad, but not every human looks at death as a sad experience. Serial killers love and embrace death, and look at it in a spiritual way. They follow the principle of the power to cause pain is the only power that matters, the power to kill and destroy, because if you can’t kill you are always subject to those who can (Blakie). Richard was raised by his parents Julian and Mercedes Ramirez.Julian was an abusive parent as his father was before him. If Mercedes or any of the children did anything that Julian considered ëwrongí they were physically beaten (Grise). Richard spent all his time hanging out with his cousin Mike. Mike was a vietnam veteran and often told Richard tales of killing people in war, and the thrill that killing someone gave you (Deutsch). Michael had the most influence over Richard. Anyone living in an environment like this is bound to be a killer. Richard was also present the day Mike killed his wife (Blanco). Richard was intoxicated by the sight of all the blood. Mike told Richard not to tell anyone about what he saw. This secret was a heavy burden on Richard's shoulders. He wanted to talk about what he saw and get help, but he couldn't because his idol Mike would get in trouble for it. After this event he spent a lot of time with his cousin and it even influenced the way he would kill his victims. Just like how John Wayne Gacy kills little boys and rapes them before he does because of his father. Richard just like Mike uses Gorilla War tactics to kill his victims. Richard would stalk his victims at night, creep into their houses before or sometimes after they get home and would kill you. Thus, creating his nickname the Night Stalker. Which brings the same question into mind. If Richard didn’t grown up in that environment would he have committed all those
