Psychological Profile Seung-Hui Cho may have been a quiet person who more often than not preferred to be by himself than be with others but their were times where his otherwise unstable attitude and personality bled through to the outside and had raised flags for a number of times, mostly in his schoolwork, especially in papers and poems he showed to his classmates and the staff. He felt he was hurting due to the actions caused by the gov’t and rich and that the only way to make them see was by committing the shooting atrocity he is now known for (Esterbrook, 2007). Cho’s means of attacking and killing labels him as that of a Mass Murderer, more specifically that of a rampage killer and pseudocommando with how many he killed (Kitaeff, 2011). Cho held a deep hatred for the government and the rich, in which he believed in how it was their fault for a large majority of problems and had even sent tapes he recorded of himself, including a manifesto, to the NBC news station after he killed his first victims in his shooting spree (Esterbrook 2007). His reign of terror came to an end by his own hand: Death by suicide (Hauser & O’Connor, 2007). Multiple witness accounts can all agree that the person who indeed shot up the both locations and killed 33 people was in fact Seung-Hui Cho himself. What cements that little fact additionally is the use of fingerprint analysis and the gun receipt in his possession indicative of one of the weapons used (Potter et al., 2007, p. 2).
