According to a study by the New York Times, by the time Americans reach the age of 23 years, approximately 30% of them have been arrested (Goode). Additionally, the US has by far the largest number of prisoners and the highest imprisonment rate (Prison Population). These shocking statistics not only show the gigantic amount of crime in the United States, but also displays the manifestation sin. Many sins abound in America, some more than others. Some of these are can be placed under the category of the seven deadly sins. However, more than any of the other deadly sins, Americans today are guilty of anger.
