Sewing: A Case Study Of Mrs. Wright's Death Bird

201 Words1 Pages
Mrs. Peters and Mrs. Hale found that Mrs. Wright was working in the kitchen but left it a mess with things unfinished and she also had been very distracted in her sewing. While examining Mrs. Wrights sewing, Mrs. Hale and Mrs. Peters find a dead bird hidden in a box mixed in with the sewing. Mrs. Wright had gotten a bird from a man that had come around and was selling them to people. Like any bird would, it sang, and it can be assumed that Mrs. Wright enjoyed it because she was consistently alone at home during the days. Before the murder of her husband, her bird had been killed, by having its neck snapped. Mrs. Wright planned to bury the bird, but something kept her from doing it until she ended up in jail after the death of her husband.
