Through the Bechdel test, it is evident that characters like Debbie, Gisella, Fiona, and Veronica really have the power to move the plot—especially in other episodes. In one of the final scenes, we have Ethel cleaning the oven as Veronica enters the kitchen. Throughout the episode, Ethel completes massive amounts of chores because it is what she like to do and in the last scene, we see Veronica wanting to do something nice for Ethel because she has been helping with everything around the house.
