Another day’s work, another day I’m stuck with Reds. Another day, the shape-shifting demon is closer to finding me. It’s just barely early enough, so there are no patrols but it’s late enough most people are sleeping. I slip into the ice room, keeping the door cracked and quickly filling the cloth bag with ice from the ancient ice machine. I say ancient because I’ve never seen anything like it. It’s big and bulky.
