Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson, the heroes of complicated mysteries, the smartest detectives who observe the tiniest details. Sherlock Holmes and Watson are prominently known for their ability to solve the most complex cases. They may have to work separately, but there is always a resolution. In The Hound of The Baskervilles by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Watson must protect Sir Henry from the hound at Baskerville Hall while Sherlock Holmes stays in London. Sherlock reveals important information to Watson and explains, “My dear fellow, you have been invaluable to me in this as in many other cases... By doing so, Watson is able to help Sherlock see the investigation from a different point of view. Stapleton reveals to Watson that he used to be a schoolmaster and that information helps Sherlock discover his true identity. Besides gathering information, Watson is also essential in deceiving the criminal. After their encounter in the hut, Sherlock reveals his plan to Watson. They tell everyone that they must be back in London for an urgent matter, but in reality, they are not.
