Alcohol abuse can lead to various problems especially with cancers. Dependency on alcohol, long terms effects, and alcohol tolerance are some examples of alcohol abuse. Liver cancer is a problem to every alcoholic. They don’t know when to stop even though they are dying inside. The effects are bloating in the stomach which causes nausea and sometimes even blood from the gag reflex. There can be fluid in the abdomen when there is not supposed to be any, which causes the person to feel pain and cramps. This side effects can sometimes lead to death or might knock you to a comma. cirrhosis can lead to bloody stool and can give you yellow skin. Dependency on alcohol is very dangerous. It causes memory loss which at a very young age is bad. The alcoholics can forget who they are, if they work, and even lose family members. Drinking way too much can lead to a black out where they just faint. The person never remembers a thing and they can end up in the hospital if they land harshly on the fall. The body sometimes might stop producing vitamins such as thiamine deficiency. The symptoms are very distressing such as loss of appetite, weakness, pain in the limbs, shortness of breath, and swollen feet or legs. Alcohol tolerance means a person needs more alcohol to get drunk than a regular person. It starts from a six pack of beer. Even a twenty-four pack won’t do any effect. They must drink more to get the same effect as they use to on a six pack. Once they start drinking they cannot quit. It can’t be controlled even if they wanted to stop. Dopamine is being released so the body can consume more alcohol like if it needs it resulting in abuse.
