Frida Kahlo is a very famous artist who was born on July 6, 1907, in Mexico in the house of her parents where was later referred as the Blue House or Casa Azul. Her father, Guillermo Kahlo was born in 1872 in carl Wilhelm Kahlo in Germany and he was also a very famous painter that has done many beautiful paintings throughout his life. Frida’s mother, Matilda Calderon Gonzalez was a dedicated Catholic of primarily indigenous. She was a very caring mother who dedicated her life to all her 8 kids, she helped them become successful people and to always follow there dreams and not let anything stop them from what they want to do. She started playing football, she went swimming, and even did she wrestle, which was a very unusual thing at that time for a girl. She has kept a very strong and close relationship with her father for her whole life. Frida had accomplished a lot in her life, she went to many art exhibitions and she sold many of her paintings although many of her paintings were her face portraits but they were beautiful and creative. Frida attended the renowned National Preparatory School in Mexico City in 1922. There were only 35 female students enrolled in this school and she soon became famous due to her bravery and outspokenness. When she was in that school, she met Diego Rivera. At that time, he was working on a mural called the creation on the school campus. Frida fell in love with him and even told a friend that she is going to marry him one day. At the same year, while Frida still attended National Preparatory School in Mexico, she joined a group of friends and fell in love with the leader Alegjandro Gomez Arias.
