Erick and the Earthquakes One day, the Lindol family brought home a son to their mansion. They named him Erick and he was very spoiled. He had millions of maids taking care of him, doing everything from cooking, cleaning, to even helping with his homework. He grew up lazy and selfish, but also lonely and unhappy. Whenever he didn’t get what he wanted, he threw a massive tantrum, jumping up and down, making the walls tremble and causing things to fall off the shelves. When he was around 16, he got mad at a maid for spilling a drop of water on his clothes and said that he would lock her in the basement for years without food nor water. He began jumping up and down when suddenly a crack appeared on the floor, and from it a black cloud appeared with tinges of red at its edges. Suddenly the cloud revealed Set, the deity of chaos. But one day when Set caused a massive earthquake, destroying nearly all the cities, and killing thousands of people, Ra had seen enough. He was tired of seeing his people suffer. He sent Nephthys and Osiris to stop Set from causing earthquakes. Once they were able to find the hidden cave, they managed to trick Set into letting them in. Erick had heard that they were coming and grew hopeful and prayed that he could finally go home after 5 years.
