The relationship returned to be a satisfactory one. In time, Richard started coming to see Selena less and, less frequently, as his responsibilities to his job and family increased. He bought a summer cottage where he took his family, whether they wanted to go or not. He took them on trips to Toronto and Disney Land.
Selena took it in stride. She had her job running the affairs of the mine, although lately, she had relied more on Richard to handle the legal aspects.
