Short Term Goal: Peggy will perform articulatory placement techniques. Procedure: Using a lollipop for sensory stimulation, the clinician will rub the lollipop on top of Ann’s alveolar ridge and will be asked to place the tip of her tongue where she can taste the flavor of the lollipop to produce the /t/ sound. For the /s/ sound, through mirror modeling, the clinician will make an analogy with “keeping the snake in the cage “and repeatedly say that to the client to indicate that the /s/ is a snake sound and the teeth make the cage.
