On Saturday, November 19, 2016; from 7:30 to 9:30pm; the Shostakovich-Cello Concerto No1 was performed by Colorado Symphony at the Boettcher Concert Hall and it was conducted by Silver Ainomäe. This Shostakovich-Cello Concerto was characterized by the classical music which was manifested itself by the music in careful controlled instrumental version. This Cello Concerto No.1 was a major key work in minor keys divided into four movements such that Allegretto; Moderato; Cadenza and Allegro Con moto in which was divided like the opening movement, and then three more movements were played successfully. The string section opened the first movement as allegretto which was a dynamic development theme which reappeared many time. The orchestra played the Moderato after the end of the first theme and it was highly expressive to lead a dramatic climax. For example, when hearing the interplay between soloists against the orchestra, you noticed how the technique used sounded overwhelmingly and dealt with passionate emotions. I was commenting about how the woodwind theme in the bass repeated again and again as the basis for a composition in which the bass line reinforced with connecting harmonies. The horn answered and the solo cello began a new theme which actually played the notes relatively slow and grounded tempo that made it twice as hard, especially at the end of the first movement. The quicker tempo was marking the allegretto and sounded significantly faster. This was the best performance of the Cadenza that was some of the most amazing great variation played.
