Should college athletes be paid?
Miles bridges and college athlete who is one of the best in college at basketball turned down millions of dollars and stayed in college. Bridges could have been a top pick in the NBA draft. There are 32,852 college basketball players, in the NBA draft there are only 2 rounds, would get drafted so that means only have of the people from college will be making millions in the NBA. In recent years the debate has came up if college athletes should be paid for there years of being in college. In college sports they should be paid because so don’t have enough money to eat, there work time they have lots of things to do, also their risk of injury. College athletes should be paid because, they bring in money for the school. Some people think they shouldn’t be paid because they are college athletes. However, they still work hard to be the best in college also they deserve money because there always on national television. They have to get injury insurance so if there hurt they don’t have to pay anything for there injury also they would need to be back fast to play

And college athletes don’t get any money from it. This is why college players should be
