Writing Assignment The investigation for this article was for the themes about death and dying, from college students taking a course about death and dying. The students were told to write a paper about their themes on death and dying, before and after taking the course. This subject is touchy to some people more than others. Researchers believe that students taking this course are at risk and take it for personal reasonings. The first known research about death and dying began in 1981 by Doka. Knowledge about death and dying is important for people going into the medical field but it’s just important for those who are not. Rather we like it or not, people die every day. Death is apart of life. This research will show the results of college students themes and feelings, before and after taking Psychology to Death and Dying course. Brabant and Kalich found that college students took this course for educational needs and intellectual purpose. The main purpose of this research is the anxiety factor due to death and dying. I thought, “Why would anyone want to take a course like this?” After reading it, it made me curious. I would take a course in psychology of death and dying. I am a Certified Nursing Assistant now and I deal with a lot of death. So, this essay really caught my interest because I thought death was just death. In my own eyes, if we play our cards right on earth, we leave this place for a mansion. The students who took this course reported more knowledge about death. I find this extremely interesting because my lack of knowledge. I think this would be a very uncomfortable course and may have some argumentative discussions but
