In Homer's Odyssey Eurylochus should have eaten the cattle of Helios. We all have had a point in our life when we were hungry or in other words “starving.”Odysseus's men had ran out food. The cows that belong to Helios should be eaten by Odysseus’s men, because they are sacrificing, starving, and drowning. We have a feeling that we need to get up and eat, even if there is something bad that's gonna happen.Odysseus's men hat eaten the cattle because they were deprived of food.

The men of Odysseus had eaten the cattle due to life threatening situations, they were starving and other reasons .Eurylochus said to believe it's better to drown than starve to death.The search for food had been going for a while:they felt frail and they could not continue without food. Drowning was better than starving as Eurylochus believed. His men believed in this word too,without food they would not be able to go on. Their belief is that they would rather drown than starve, because it would be a quicker death. Sacrifice themselves when they arrived home is something Eurylochus said that would be done.

They ate the cattle, sp therefore they would sacrifice themselves.They let hunger overtake their greatness. They did not listen to the captain's orders so they have to face the consequences.They believed the choice they made was best for them to do.They had many reason why they should have not made the choice to eat the cattle.

When to decide to eat the cattle nothing was on their mind but themselves. Odysseus men decided to turn against their promise that they had made to Odysseus.They were told clearly not to eat the cattle. They were not suppose to displease Helios, the gods had understood their talents while humans did not.The men should of sacrificed their life instead of eating someone's
