In the play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare. The character Friar Lawrence has a mindset that thinks he is the most important and wants to do things that will only benefit him. In the play, he does things that will only benefit himself and not help the other characters. This is why Friar Lawrence should be punished for being self-fish and deceiving. Friar Lawrence is self-fish because he only wanted the best for himself.
