In my opinion, the government shouldn’t have a say in our diets how would this be possible? Our president has tried to gain control over the way this generation eats in schools and colleges but is it really possible for him to keep check on everyone’s diet under his control? Imagine how hard it would be to keep track on societies’ diet with all the food corporations today and all the companies that make junk food that would go out of business if we were no longer able to eat their food. For example; hamburgers and little debbies, and other fatty foods. There would have to be a law against buying these foods to control people’s diets and there is no way the government would be able to make that decision without a war against the people. Yes, it would be nice and make our world a lot more productive if everyone was healthy and no one was obese. Despite the many studies that prove American obesity is increasing, government can not fully solve this complex problem.The public already knows obesity occurs when we eat too much and exercise too little but this has been the government’s focus to stress this because they believe they are eliminating this epidemic by warning us that they may begin to control our diets because we aren’t capable of doing it on our own..Healthy people are no longer allowed to eat what they like now because of the few poor and personal choices of obese people? American obesity is a choice whether or not we are tempted with unhealthy food. Lack of exercise is just as much of factor in controlling obesity. Rather encouraging the government to control more of us than they already do we need to push back against government intervention, and allow people to find the solution that best meets their
