Karla Homolka is convicted of helping her husband rape and murder Leslie Mahafty, Kristen French and her 16 year old sister Tammy. Homolka has been subject to various acts and offences and is now pleading for early parole instead of facing her full sentence. I stand, as the prosecutor to urge the judge to keep her in prison for her full sentence, due to her violent and sexual psychiatric conditions, using drugs to sexually assault victims while they are unconscious, and results from an approved psychopathy checklist that show she should not be given any sympathy to her emotional or psychological excuses. After Homolka's Christmas party, Bernado and Homolka spiked Tammy (Homolka's 16 year old sister) spaghetti with valium she stole from the clinic she worked at, in order to make her unconscious and sexually assault her; until Tammy chocked on her own vomit and died. Releasing Homolka from prison would allow her to experiment with more victims by drugging them. I believe that Homolka serving her full sentence would allow her to prepare herself mentally for the outside world by engaging in special programs that develop the minds of prisoners and train them to rehabilitate themselves from a life of crime to a life of good. a similar case occurred in Boston, Massachusetts with a 26 year old nurse named Jane Toppan who gave lethal injections of morphine to 31 patients, and was suspected of killing an additional 70 patients over the course of 2 decades. After convicted, she convinced the judges to an insanity plea; based on her history in attempted suicides where she was transferred to mental hospital, where her mental condition grew far more violent and ended up injuring many other patients and
