Should Middle School Students Get to Pick Their Own Classes?
Hennessey Fortmann In High schools, they get to pick their own classes. In middle school, you cannot pick your own class. That is why middle schools should get to pick their own classes. In this paper, you will read my claims that middle school students should get to pick their own classes. I think that middle school students should get to pick their own classes because you can learn better and get better grades from not being distracted. You would also have fun classes. You do not have to stay in the same classes all the time. You could also meet new teachers. You also do not have to have the same class as the person who has like every class with you. As one teacher only teaches math, or the other teacher teaches reading and language arts, or only three teachers teach social studies, or only one teacher only teaches science.
Only two people teach gym. One person teaches art. On the other hand, one person teaches music. In addition, two people teaches band/orchestra. Students should be able to pick their own classes so they do not have to be teaching the same thing every year. Some of the kids are not happy of the classes that they were picked to. They probably want to pick their own classes so they can be happy for the classes that they pick. They would not be bored any more if they pick their own classes. It is often that kids who have math first and kids who do not have math first probably wanted to have math first instead of having math second or last. Some kids want different classes first while others do not want the same classes as there friend first.
Some kids need to special classes while others do not even need the special classes. Some kids want special classes and some kids do not want special classes they just want regular classes. Some kids are kids who do not want to be left alone while others do want to be left alone without their friends be left
