Should performance enhancing drugs be allowed in sports is the main question. It is very common for athletes in the big leagues to use performance enhancing drugs, or PEDs for short, and it has proven to be very effective, but would you rather see Usain Bolt beat a new time or a cheetah smoke Usain? All sports around the world will have athletes use PEDs, but they do it unknowingly to the public and even their team. Athletes tend to take PEDs to create an edge between them and the rest of the team, but why do it behind the team's back? Players that take PEDs tend to show drastic differences between them and their teammates, and this is exactly what they want. High school and College players tend to take PEDs for that reason alone, to stand out from the rest to be seen by a scout. PEDs have only created unfairness in stadiums. In many cases players find a way to pass drug tests while on PEDs in which just punish natural players from succeeding. Many athletes have been robbed of the spotlight for their amazing performance by other athletes who have used substances to give themselves an edge, an unfair edge.
