Police officers may need to use deadly force in certain situations when they are trying to enforce the law These police officers are people that risk their lives every day for people they don't even know. Many times these criminals are using deadly forces against them. The public needs to know they are safe. Police should possess weapons of deadly force.
Instead of using deadly force, use of non- lethal weapons like tasers or tranquilizers allow a criminal to be taken in for questioning which could be positive in some situations. A terrorist may have more information to be given, and if deadly force was taken, there would be no information to be found. At times, force is needed to attempt to arrest a suspect. Police officers may use deadly forces in specific circumstances when they are trying to enforce the law. If they did not, this world would be a much different place. It would be a very unpleasant and dangerous place. The use of force is a must in the police officers line of work. The lives of officers or civilians are at stake if certain weapons of deadly force are not used to apprehend the criminals.
The supreme court has ruled that, depending on the circumstances, if an offender resists arrest, police officers may use as much force as is reasonably required to overcome the criminal. A police officer should be able to use the amount of force that they know is necessary with public shaming. Many hours of training is required to assess how much force to use. Their job is to protect the public. They should be able to make the right judgement and act upon it without the public saying is should have been done differently.
Police should possess weapons of deadly force. Use of force is a necessary part of the job.
No officer knows when force must be used until the situation arises. Training and instruction can prepare police to use force appropriately. By using necessary force, the world is a safer and better
