Did you know that 70 percent of kids quit sports by the age of 13? Sixth graders should be able to play school sports. School sports prevent kids from getting bored, helps them do better in school and promotes teamwork. One reason 6th graders should play school sports is that they get bored. Many kids are getting bored and really want to play school sports.
If they were involved in school sports they would have practices and games after school to keep them active.
