Interdiction: The topic of the following essay is to investigate the question of ‘should sports replace human umpires with computers? This is a very serious issue in the world today and I will be covering both negatives and positives about the topic. Umpires cannot see everything happens in the game they will always be a limit when humans judge, they’re not always right when making desertions. Small mistake an umpire does can change the game completely. Which is not fair at all times. Computers have issues too such as slowing the game down which is not a good thing. Personally I think that computers can do better job than human empires without any issues. Even though computers might make the game longer but that just for now in the future improvement will fix that. Computers can make games much fair than human umpires. I also think that technology wont Make as much mistakes as umpires do. …show more content…
Umpires can never be at the level of technology when making desertions. That should be enough to give the judgement to them. They should be used in all sports to make all of the world games fair. Another good thing about computers is that there are many times when umpires make huge mistakes in judgment. They even choose the wrong team as a winner, which is not fair. Technology can replace umpire because it makes better faster and accurate decisions than human umpires. Human umpires sometimes happen to hate one of the teams at some point and give fake dissections so that they make the team that they don’t like a loser. Human umpires also in some cases take money from one of the teams so that the umpires fake the game and let them win (claims, 2012). Human umpires are also being caught taking bribes at that point we should never trust umpires again (FoxSports, 2014). With technology none of that would happen just because computers wont take money from any sport
