Should Student Be Allowed To Leave School For Lunch? I know at least once throughout your high school year you wondered why you eat the same thing every day of every month all school year, you also wished they had food like your favorite restaurant. Nationwide, about 60 percent of students in all grade levels at school participate in the National School Lunch Program. But what about the other students didn't qualify for the program? They have to pay for lunch, which is fine in some cases, but what if they forget their lunch money? Some schools do give Sack lunches or a sandwich and fruit but it doesn't taste like a hamburger from the dollar menu at Mcdonalds.
