According to the United States Constitution, we are granted first amendment rights to carry guns. Today, with current issues such as police brutality,mass shootings, and suicide. Many people believe that the gun laws should be stricter. However, in order to be protected, teachers should be allowed to carry guns in school in order to exercise their fundamental rights can protect themselves.
In Virginia, if a person wants to own a gun they have to be eighteen years and hold a permit. However, to ensure that teachers are and able to protect their students safe and protect themselves they should be able to carry guns in school.
